Eat Better for Greater Energy & MSK related conditions
Manage Knee Health
A 6-week foundational Active Health programme with pre- and post-assessments (follow-up assessment in 3rd month), designed to help individuals manage common musculoskeletal disorders affecting the knee. Participants will learn safe and effective approaches to improve knee health through structured movement strategies and health coaching.
Suitable for individuals aged 18 and above who meet the eligibility criteria and are able to independently:
- Dress, shower, and manage toileting
- Take public transport
- Stand up from a chair without using hands ≥5 times
- Climb stairs with or without using a handrail
Participants describe their health status to be at least:
- Medical problems are well controlled, but they are not regularly active beyond routine walking (CFS 3)
This programme is not suitable for individuals who have:
- Knee joint pain score ≥7/10 on most days
- A history of falls in the last six months
- A previous stroke requiring assistance in daily activities
- A heart condition/procedure that demands supervised physical exercise by a health professional
*Intensity levels: It may vary across individuals depending on factors such as age, fitness level, and health status. Always listen to your body and exercise at a pace that is comfortable and safe for you.

A 6-week foundational Active Health programme with pre- and post-assessments (follow-up assessment in 3rd month), designed to help individuals manage metabolic health and reduce chronic disease risks through structured movement strategies and health coaching whilst learning evidence-based approaches to improve overall wellbeing. Suitable for individuals aged 18 and above who meet the eligibility criteria may enroll. Review the full criteria at go.gov.sg/managemetabolic before signing up.
Suitable for the individuals aged 18 and above who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- With well-controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and no hypoglycaemic episodes in the past three months
- With BMI between 23–32.5 kg/m² and/or waist circumference >90cm for men and >80cm for women
- With well-controlled hypertension, maintaining resting systolic and diastolic blood pressure readings of <160 and <100 mmHg respectively
- With elevated triglyceride levels and low HDL cholesterol levels

Participants will learn practical ways to increase intake, overcome common barriers, and set sustainable nutrition goals. Suitable for adults aged 60 and above, as well as those seeking to maintain bone strength, mobility, and nutritional well-being.
Duration: 60 minutes
