Superfruit Recharger Smoothie (Recipe)

Easy-to-do fruit smoothie to do at home as a family. You can also take the opportunity to find out more about one another's fruit likes and dislikes.

Have fun, bond as a family and have a tasty treat too!

 

 

Ingredients:

250ml Milk

1 small banana, sliced

6 Strawberries OR 1/2 apple, sliced

Toppings:

1 Teaspoon of oats (optional)

A handful of blueberries

 

Instructions:

1. Blend milk, banana and strawberries together.

2. Add oats and blueberries for that extra crunch.

3. Pour into a glass and enjoy with your family!

 

This smoothie contains the following goodness:

Carbohydrates - Found in fruits and provides energy

Protein -  Helps to build and repair muscle

Calcium - Important for bone health

Antioxidants - Fruits provide antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits
