SEA Games 2025: Day 7 mid-day update

It is Day 7 of the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand. 

Here’s a snapshot of Team Singapore in action so far as of 1pm:  

Triathlon

Bryce Chong, Luke Chua and Tey Yi Jun finished the men’s aquathlon team relay in 46min 47.460sec, taking the silver medal. 

In the women’s event, Herlene Yu, Lim Wan Ting and Louisa Middleditch teamed up to finish in 53:58.13 for bronze. 

Archery

In the women’s recurve individual event, Tabitha Yeo progressed through the round of 16 and quarter-finals, but was beaten 7-3 by Trieu Huyen Diep of Vietnam in the semi-finals. 

She will contest the bronze medal against another Vietnamese opponent, Loc Thi Dao, on Dec 17. 

Floorball

In the men’s team, Singapore’s men team were beaten 6-4 by the Philippines. The team will finish with a bronze medal. 


Chess

In chess, Singapore’s team of Ashton Chia, Kevin Goh, Joel Ngu, Siddharth Jagadeesh and Tin Jingyao were beaten 2.5-105 by the Philippines and settled for bronze in the Asean Chess Rapid Team event.


Shooting 

Air pistol shooters were also in action in the women’s 25m pistol event today.

Teh Xiu Yi sits second out of 21 athletes, after a score of 291-12x in the precision stage. Elder sister Xiu Hong is sixth, after a 287-7x. 

The rapid fire stage of the competition continues on Dec 17.
