Key Events & Partnerships
GetActive! Singapore Pesta Sukan
Our valued partner, CHIJ St Theresa’s Convent was instrumental in supporting two key events: GetActive! Singapore Pesta Sukan and Majulah Fiesta NutureKids. A total of 102 students took on diverse roles across both events, including ushering, score-keeping, manning activity stations and supporting award ceremonies. This ensured the smooth running of the events but also provided the students with a rich volunteering experience.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training
Team Nila partnered with the Singapore Heart Foundation as an initiative to enhance our volunteers’ life-saving skills. This partnership equipped our volunteers with crucial emergency response abilities such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) to respond effectively in critical situations.
Little Team Nila
The Little Team Nila programme is a new initiative by Sport Singapore, announced in March 2025. This programme aims to introduce children aged 5 to 12 to sport volunteerism, nurturing a passion for sport and volunteerism from an early age. Children can engage in roles such as cheering on Team Singapore athletes to supporting sporting events in areas such as medal ceremonies.
PAP Community Foundation (PCF) Sparkletots was the first partner to partake in Little Team Nila, with about 1,600 preschoolers, teachers and principals from 26 PCF centres, who cheered on local and international athletes across 20 competitive events at the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025.

There is no age limit to be a Team Nila volunteer. However, there may be an age restriction to certain volunteering opportunities according to the roles and responsibilities required.
How do I sign up as a new volunteer?

Step 2: Find ‘Participating Agencies’
Step 3: Select Team Nila
Step 4: Click ‘Follow’

How can I view the volunteering hours that I have completed?
Step 1: Log on to volunteer.gov.sg/teamnila
Step 2: Go to your profile
Step 3: Got to ‘My Activities’, click on ‘My Volunteering Records’
You would be able to find all your past volunteering records and hours.
How can I view my upcoming opportunties?
Step 1: Log on to volunteer.gov.sg/teamnila
Step 2: Go to your profile
You will be able to find all your upcoming volunteering in your Dashboard under the subtitle ‘My upcoming opportunities’
How can I withdraw my opportunity?
Step 1: Log on to volunteer.gov.sg/teamnila
Step 2: Go to ‘My Profile’
Step 3: Under ‘My Activities’, click ‘My Opportunities Records’
Step 4: You will be able to view the Status of your application. Click on the opportunity name which you would like to withdraw from.
Step 5: On the opportunity page, select ‘More Actions’ followed by ‘My Shifts’
Step 6: Proceed to click on the ‘withdraw’ button where you would then need to indicate the reason for withdrawal followed by selecting the ‘submit’ button
