Our Seasonal Programmes take place at 4 external venues:

2. Sports Hub Water Sports Centre @ Marina Reservoir
3. PAssion WaVe @ Jurong Lake Gardens
4. *new!* PAssion WaVe @ Bedok Reservoir

KIAK 9 to 14 yo = Born in 2010 to 2015.

2024 SEASON 2 PROGRAMMES (APR-JUN)

*Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents who have verified their ActiveSG account will pay the subsidised rate. SportCares Bursaries are available for eligible applicants.

Programme Structure

Kid-in-a-Kayak (KIAK)
Beginners 9 to 14 years old
Mandatory swimming requirement of minimum 200m unaided or SwimSafer Silver.
Recommended at least 1.35m and 30-55kg.
1x 1.5h a week on weekend afternoons.
Season of 10 weeks = total 10 sessions.
*Standard fee of $185 per season; Subsidised fee of $130 per season.
Most participants complete about 1-2 years (4-8 seasons) in KIAK before moving to Upsized.

KIAK Upsized
By invitation only. Current criteria is 2km < 15 mins for U12 athletes. Older athletes will be considered on a case by case basis.
10 to 14 years old.
Up to 2x 1.5h a week (one weekend session plus additional opt-in session)
Season of 10 weeks, up to 20 sessions in total.
*Standard fee of $185 per season; Subsidised fee of $130 per season.

WSC Wed 5pm & Sat 515pm
WSC Thu 5pm & Sun 730am / 515pm
JLG Sat 3pm / 430pm (weekday at MacR or WSC)

Expectations
Attend at least 80% of sessions.
Take part in all recommended competitions.

KIAK Squad

By invitation only. Must aspire to qualify for the Singapore National Junior Team. Current criteria is 2km < 14 mins for U12 Girls and < 13 mins for U12 Boys. Older athletes will be considered on a case by case basis.
11 to 16 years old
6-8x 2h a week
Season of 3 calendar months = total ~80-100 sessions.
*Standard fee of $557 per season; Subsidised fee of $390 per season.

General Schedule
Tuesday to Friday 430-630pm
Saturday 715-915am (combined at WSC)
Saturday & Sunday 5-7pm

Expectations
Willing and able to train at least 4x/wk, recommended 5-6x/wk. Take part in all recommended competitions and time trials.

Paddle-for-Life
By invitation only. 
15 years old and above.
2x 2h a week, Sat & Sun 3-5pm.
Season of 10 weeks = total 20 sessions.
*Standard fee of $185 per season; Subsidised fee of $130 per season.

Expectations
Take part in mass participation competitions/events when available.

Paracanoe 
10 years old and above, with lower limb impairment.
Sports Hub Water Sports Centre @ Marina Reservoir
Mandatory swimming requirement of minimum 50m unaided or SwimSafer Stage 3.
1x 2h a week on Sundays 9-11am
Season of 10 weeks = total 10 sessions.
*Standard fee of $92 per season; Subsidised fee of $32 per season.
