1.  How do I register for the ActiveSG Hockey Academy Programme?

You would need to link your child’s profile to your ActiveSG+ account. You can refer to  https://www.activesgcircle.gov.sg/myactivesg-plus to guide you how you can do this. This URL is useful as it will also contain important updates related to ActiveSG+. Once you have done that, go to “Programme” tab, type “hockey”, look for the list of programme title that starts with “ActiveSG Hockey Academy”. Please look for venues with available slots. 

2.  When are the programmes? What is the cost?

ActiveSG Hockey Academy offers Seasonal Programmes lasting 10 weeks and Development Centre Programmes running for 6 months. Each programme has fixed days and times, which vary depending on your chosen course. While attendance at every session is strongly encouraged, it's not mandatory. However, please note that no refunds will be given for missed sessions. Our programmes are offered at highly subsidised rates for ActiveSG members. (refer to link above on ActiveSG membership).

Please be aware that changes may occur with prior notice. We recommend that you regularly check for updates to stay informed about any modifications to the programmes.

3.  What does my child need to bring for the hockey sessions?

• Dri-fit attire suitable for sports
• Covered shoes, preferably sport shoes or hockey shoes (No football boots)
• Water bottle for hydration during the programme
• Shin guards 
• Hockey Stick - We provide a shared hockey stick for use during sessions. However, as your child progresses or develops a keener interest in hockey, you may wish to purchase a personal stick for them.

4.  When will we confirm the dates for the Season?

You may keep a lookout on our Facebook page at: ActiveSG Hockey Academy and Instagram page at activesg.hockey for first hand announcements and the start of our season registration.

5.  How do I register for Development Centre (DC) Programme?

Do note DC program is by invitation only. If interested in DC, your child would need to attend a trial. Once your child passed, he/she may register for DC.

6.  Am I able to get a refund?

As a general policy, refunds are not provided. However, ActiveSG Hockey Academy will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis for valid reasons. If you need to request a refund, please email us (ActiveSG_Hockey@sport.gov.sg)  with relevant supporting documents, including your invoice receipt. 7.  I would like to transfer my child to a different centre/different time slot. Would that be possible?

No transfer is allowed. Please kindly register your child for the correct programme you are interested in. Do note that registration is subject to availability.

Once you have registered your child for the correct programme, do let us know and we’ll issue a refund. Please show us the screenshot as we need both the name of the programme and your child's name.

8.  Are you able to open more slots?

We are unable to increase the number of available slots as they are limited. Slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no waiting list for our programmes.

However, we recommend checking ActiveSG+ regularly, as spaces may become available if participants withdraw from the programme.
