Having good cardiorespiratory fitness is vital for our general health and reduces our risk for heart diseases. It increases our general exercise capability and allows us to perform daily activities such as running over a distance to catch the bus and playing sports with our friends and family without feeling fatigued easily.

  • AGILITY

Having good agility is necessary as it allows us to effectively perform movements that require rapid changes in direction while maintaining good control of the body. From dodging an incoming tackle in a rugby match to navigating through a crowded place quickly, agility is key in ensuring we that we are able to effectively react to environmental demands accordingly.

  • BALANCE

Having good balance is fundamental to reducing our fall risks during daily or sporting activities especially as we get older. It benefits all types of movement we perform. From climbing a flight of stairs to reaching out for an item on a high shelf on tip toes, it increases our ability to perform these tasks proficiently while maintaining control of our body.

  • MUSCULAR POWER

Having good muscular power enables us to perform quick and explosive movements that are required in many athletic activities such as sprinting or jumping high to head a ball. It also greatly contributes to the performance of our everyday activities as rarely are these tasks performed in a slow and controlled manner . These activities include standing up from the chair quickly, picking up pace while crossing the street, jumping over an open drain.

  • MUSCULAR STRENGTH

Having good muscular strength enables us to live strongly and independently. This means we can move, lift, and efficiently perform everyday activities such as carrying grocery bags, shifting furniture, or lifting our children and grandchildren.
