What does the ActiveSG Sport Interest Group offer?

ActiveSG Sport Interest Group invites sport enthusiasts to gather and organises opportunities for the groups to train and play regularly together.

Who can join?

The ActiveSG Sport Interest Group programme is open to everyone who is a registered and verified ActiveSG member.

For participants aged below 18 years, it is mandatory to obtain the consent of your parent/guardian before participating in the programme.

What is the group size?

Are racket/shuttlecock/balls provided?

No sport equipment, except for TTX table tennis equipment, will be provided. Should a participant require TTX table tennis equipment, he/she is required to make a request at the guest service reception at the respective ActiveSG Sport Centre.

The equipment has to be returned to the guest service reception after the session ends. The participant is responsible to ensure that the equipment is not damaged during play. In the event that damage is caused during the session, the participant may be required to pay for any and all costs related to any repair or replacement of the damaged equipment.

How do I register?

All programmes commencing 15 July 2024 will be available on MyActiveSG+, including the ActiveSG Sport Interest Group programmes at MyActiveSG+.

Can ActiveSG credits be used to make payment?

No, ActiveSG credits cannot be used for the programme.

Can I exit the group anytime and receive a pro-rated refund?

Yes, you can exit. However, no refund will be made following the commencement of programme.

Will there be any make up session if the session is cancelled by ActiveSG due to unforeseen circumstances?

Yes, participants will be informed of the re-scheduled dates.

Who can I report to should there be disputes/issues arising from the group play?

Members can approach our Sport Champions and Centre Management for assistance.

Can I join multiple groups within/across ActiveSG sport centres?

Yes, you can.

Can I get a replacement player or session, if I am unable to attend one of the sessions?

No replacement of session or member is allowed. Any unutilised session will be forfeited.

What happen if the slot that I prefer is fully subscribed?

Please look out for alternate available slots, ActiveSG reserves the right to determine the schedule of play.

I have a group of keen players. How can we register to be in the same group?

Registration will be on a first come, first served basis. Registration will need to be made from each player’s individual ActiveSG account. Participants are allowed to book 15 days in advance before the commencement of the 1st session of the programme.

Participants must register and make payment for the programme via MyActiveSG+. Counter registration will be discontinued to ensure fairness. For participants who require one-off assistance, please approach any of our ActiveSG staff.

Can I help my children, parents or friends sign up?

No, registration can only be done through each individual ActiveSG account.

Can the group session timing be changed?

No. ActiveSG reserves the right to determine the schedule of play.
