The A Division Girls' Basketball competition at the 2023 National School Games (NSG), tipped off on 12 April. The current campaign comprises 15 teams divided into 3 groups for the preliminary stage. And on 3 May at the Singapore Basketball Centre, Nanyang Junior College (NYJC) faced National Junior College (NJC) in their final group qualifier. The NJCians went into that clash on a 3-match winning streak, while their Nanyang counterparts had also won their opening 3 matches. Final score : NYJC 47 -8 NJC.
Both Junior College squads are currently in the quarter-final round-robin stage with 4 other teams.
