Great Green Run

Jointly organised by Greenbees and TriFactor, Green Green Run is a mass sustainability-themed sporting event, designed to serve as a platform to rally and inspire individuals, corporations and communities into sustainability advocacy and action.

The run will be divided into two categories - corporate and community run. Participants can choose to register for either the 5KM or 10KM distance for each category. Every participant is also encouraged to make an individual sustainability pledge upon registration, with options to choose from the five selected United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - Good Health and Wellbeing, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action, and Life Below Water.

What can participants expect?

1. The Great Green Run will be flagged off by special needs members from its Inclusivity Partner, Extraordinary People

2. Great Green Run will be one of the first sporting events in the region to publicly share its carbon footprint and sustainability initiatives report which will be reviewed and verified by the Singapore Environmental Council (SEC)

3. All runners and finishers are entitled to a race pack which includes a sustainable medal made in Bhutan, a digital certificate, a sustainably-produced running t-shirt and e-vouchers

4. An interactive walk through the Singapore Sustainability Gallery

5. A sustainability-theme fiesta featuring food, retail and activity stalls

6. Adoption of eco-friendly practices, such as transport sharing, reducing plastic, paper and other single-use waste materials during the event

7. Participate in the Lucky Green Draw and stand a chance to win a trip to Lathi, a city in Finland, trips to Kingdom of Bhutan, and NDP limited edition MOBOT bicycles
