Singapore won two more table tennis golds in men's doubles and mixed doubles on Dec 17.
Koen Pang and Zeng Jian beat Malaysians Wong Qi Shen and Tee Ai Xin 3-0 (11-6, 11-7, 11-2) in the mixed doubles final. Pang then teamed up with Izaac Quek for the men's doubles finals, easing to a 3-0 (11-6, 11-6, 11-6) victory over Wong and Javen Choong. In the women's doubles, Ser Lin Qian and Loy Ming Ying took the joint-bronze.
Zeng said: "I've never been able to win the mixed doubles gold at the SEA Games, so I'm very happy to do so today. We were able to get into the rhythm well at each stage of the competition, so we played more confidently in the final.
"I'll take this confidence with me into the singles event."

Pang was happy with his successes in both doubles events, noting that it was his and Zeng's first time teaming up at a major Games. Of the men's doubles, he said: "We more or less had total control of the game. We were leading throughout, we were very clear on what to do and we managed to execute everything."
The 23-year-old concludes his fourth SEA Games outing with three golds in as many events, having won the men's team title on Dec 15.

"This SEA Games has definitely been the most perfect for me. Even though I wasn't playing as well in the team event, my teammates managed to pull through. These two days of doubles have been very hectic, and I'm glad I'm playing well," he added.
The Games are not over for his partner Quek, who is defending his men's singles crown. Noting that the singles event is more competitive due to the increased number of entries, he stressed the importance of not looking too far ahead.

"For singles, the road to gold is very long, so I'll just try to get ready for my 10am match tomorrow, then the 2pm match," said the 19-year-old, adding that he tries to take each match as the first of the tournament.
"Getting two gold medals is really good for me. The competition has been going well, so (it's) just having that confidence in myself, but also forgetting about the two gold medals, and just trying to take it slowly and try to win every match and play every point as well as I can."
