Football fans in Singapore can look forward to top European football action here in July. TEG Sport and Left Field Live have confirmed today, a highly anticipated match featuring Premier League giant Tottenham Hotspur and Italian powerhouse AS Roma. The match will kick off at 7.30pm on 26 July at the National Stadium at Singapore Sports Hub. Spurs will also be opening up their pre-match training session to fans.

The North London Club will kick-off their pre-season Asia Pacific tour with the 18 July match against West Ham United in Perth before travelling to Singapore with their match against AS Roma. The Serie A club, on the other hand, will begin their Asian tour in Singapore before moving on to South Korea for other fixtures.

AIA, the global principal partner of Tottenham Hotspur, will also be a key partner for the match in
Singapore. Fans can expect plenty of opportunities for interaction with the club, as the team will be spending a good part of their pre-season preparation in Asia Pacific. Other than the pre-match training session on 25 July at the National Stadium, players and staff will be engaging in a range of activities to engage with the Club’s fanbase, support good causes, deliver grassroots football programmes and celebrate local culture.

Tottenham Hotspur last visited Singapore in 2019 where Harry Kane’s stoppage time goal in a 3-2
win over Juventus delighted the near-capacity crowd and millions more around the world.

AS Roma will be led by two-time Champions League winning manager Jose Mourinho, who guided the Italian side to victory in the Europa Conference League last year – their first trophy in 11 years. Fans will be hoping to welcome the top players of AS Roma such as talented young star Nicola Zalewski, England international Chris Smalling and Argentinian forward Paulo Dybala, who was part of the World Cup-winning team last year.

Donna-Maria Cullen, Executive Director, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “We are delighted to be returning to Singapore during our 2023 Tour. We have fond memories of our most recent visit in 2019 and have an extremely passionate fanbase in Singapore, including an Official Supporters’ Club that has been established for more than 20 years.  AS Roma will provide a great test at an important time for us as we prepare for the 2023/24 season. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with the Spurs family and our colleagues at AIA in Singapore and across the Asia-Pacific region, as well as support good causes and embrace the culture of this beautiful nation.”

Spurs’ open training session will be held at 6.00pm on 25 July at the National Stadium while the
match against AS Roma kicks off at 7.30pm on 26 July at the National Stadium.

Both the open training session (Spurs) and the match will be ticketed. Tickets will go on sale via
