Ep 19: SG FENCING Target Tokyo 2021 and Paris 2024 for Olympic DEBUTs

Singapore�s latest Sports Talkshow, turns the focus on FENCING!

Since 2014, the Republic's national athletes have been performing consistently on the international circuit, by winning medals at the SEA Games, Asian Championships and at the World Juniors C'ships as well. This has led to a growing rise in the number of students learning the sport of fencing in our local schools.

Fencing Singapore (FS) also has in place, the Olympic Pathway Programme for the nation's elite athletes to train and qualify to compete at the Olympic Games for the very 1st time. And FS is quietly confident of at least 1 Singaporean, making the cut for the Tokyo 2021 Games.

The success of FS would not have been possible without years of proper and sound governance, well-designed training and development programmes, support from the Govt, Parents and Sponsors, not forgetting the passion, sacrifices and love for Fencing by the athletes themselves.
