- When is the Singapore Tennis Open held?
Singapore Tennis Open will be held between 20 to 28 February 2021. Qualifying Rounds will be on 20 and 21 February. The main draw will take place from 22 February 2021 onwards.
- Where will the Singapore Tennis Open be held?
The tournament will be held at Halls 1 and 2 of OCBC Arena located at Singapore Sports Hub.
- How many matches will take place in a day?

- When will ticket sales open to public?
There will be no spectators for the event due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation.

- How many players will be participating in the tournament?
Singapore Tennis Open will be welcoming up to 65 international players for the week-long tournament. Some players will be competing in both singles and doubles matches.

- Will there be any top seeded players who will be playing in Singapore Tennis Open?
Singapore looks forward to welcoming tennis players of top calibre as the ATP 250 event returns to Singapore. The tournament will feature 2014 US Open Grand Slam champion Marin Cilic, World No.35 Adrian Mannarino, along with Japanese No.2 and World No.57 Yoshihito Nishioka who will compete in Singapore as the top-ranked Asian singles player.

- Are there any Singapore players competing in the tournament? Who are they?
Singapore’s national players Shaheed Alam and Roy Hobbs have been awarded wildcards to compete in the Singapore Tennis Open. They'll be playing in the Singles Qualifying Round on Saturday, 20 Feb.

- COVID-19 Protocol for Foreign Players and Tournament Officials
Upon arrival in Singapore
- Will all players and officials be flying in via chartered flights?
All players, whether flying in from Melbourne after Australian Open or from other parts of the world, have made their own travel arrangements. They will be entering Singapore through the Air Travel Pass. Upon arrival in Singapore, players and officials will have to undergo a PCR test and be isolated till they receive a negative test result. All foreign players and tournament officials will also be placed on a strict controlled itinerary throughout their stay in Singapore.
During stay in Singapore
- What measures are in place to ensure that the players and officials are not potentially exposed to COVID-19 risks?
Players and officials will have to adhere to a strict controlled itinerary during their stay in Singapore. This includes having a designated transport arrangement between the airport, hotel and tournament venue to minimise and possible contact with the community. Transport providers are also required to don the necessary protective equipment when ferrying the players and tour officials.
All foreign players and tournament officials will also be required to undergo daily PCR tests and show proof of a negative test result before they can enter the tournament venue.
- Are there movement restrictions in place for the players?
All players and tour officials are subject to a strict controlled itinerary during their stay in Singapore. The itinerary limits their movement boundaries to the following locations – the airport, designated hotel and tournament venue.

- Will the matches be telecast live? On which channels?
Fans may tune in to live coverage of the Singapore Tennis Open on meWATCH. Mediacorp, the Official Broadcaster, will have a live broadcast of the Finals on 28 February on Mediacorp Channel 5. Fans may also watch Live Streams of the matches at Hub.Tennis, and beIN Sports from 22 – 28 February.

- Singapore Tennis Open & COVID-19
- Given the delicate situation of COVID-19 in the community today, why is Singapore hosting a sport event with international players at this juncture?
Sport Singapore is cognisant of the current COVID-19 situation within the community and will continue to monitor the situation closely. The organising committee is working closely with the relevant authorities to ensure that measures are in place to ensure that the community’s safety, a top priority, is not put at risk.
Singapore Tennis Open is an opportunity to gradually bring sports back and enliven the sporting ecosystem with the increased opportunities for event companies and vendors who are involved in the smooth execution of the event. In addition, a successful event will also reassure other international event organisers that Singapore is ready to host a world-class event in a safe manner amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic.
- If the COVID-19 situation worsens, will the event still go on?
Sport Singapore is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation within the community. If the situation worsens, the organising committee and the ATP will decide in consultation with the healthy authorities.
- If a player at Singapore Tennis Open contracts COVID-19 within the duration of the tournament, will the subsequent games be cancelled?
The organising committee of Singapore Tennis Open has put in place all necessary measures to ensure that players and tour officials are tested regularly to enable early detection of any COVID-19 cases. In the event that a player or official contracts COVID-19, they will be immediately quarantined, and tournament grounds will thoroughly sanitised. Any decision to cancel or adjust the schedule of subsequent matches will be made at the discretion of the organising committee and the ATP.
