Singapore's most prominent open-water swimmer Chantal Liew is aiming to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympiad, before retiring from the sport altogether.
The 22 year old is looking towards completing her Masters in Human-Computer Interaction. And then embarking on a career in Tech, which she is passionate about working in a startup company that specializes in Artificial Intelligence, Product management etc.
Having won the Silver medal at the KL SEA Games in 2017 in the 10Km Open-water swimming event, Chantal is departing for Portugal on Sunday 13 June, to compete at the FINA Olympic Marathon Swim qualifier. And earlier this week, she spoke to the local media on a Zoom call.
