1st International Singapore/Malaysia Luminous Dragon Dance Competition

The Dragon and Lion Dance Sports Federation Singapore is organising the 1st International Singapore/Malaysia Luminous Dragon Dance Competition, a landmark cultural event celebrating cross-border collaboration and modern artistic innovation in traditional dragon dance.

The event will feature a historic “SG60” luminous dragon formation, set to be included in the Book of Records Singapore. This inaugural competition marks the first of its kind between Singapore and Malaysia, showcasing a spectacular fusion of heritage and contemporary performance art.

Venue : Our Tampines Hub Community Auditorium (3rd Floor)

The event is supported by community partners, grassroots organizations, cultural associations across both countries, and sponsors including Eternity Funeral Services, Amps Tea, Lickers Singapore, CitiStar Transport Services, Singapore ShaoLin Cultural Centre, CID Productions, and Sian Chay Medical Institution. Tampines GRC Advisors and distinguished guests such as Dato Sri William Oh and Mr. Albert Lai will also be in attendance.
