Registration
Deadline: 2 July 2026 (Thursday)
A
2-hour interactive workshop in which participants learn to use a mobile video
replay application to support coaching and performance analysis within
real-time learning environment. Throughout the session, participants
collaboratively set up a replay system, assume defined group roles, and record
sporting skills across multiple trials. They then use video replay to analyse
performance, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
The
workshop also builds participants’ ability to deliver clear, constructive, and
evidence-based coaching feedback using tools such as slow-motion playback and
video annotation. In addition, participants are introduced to basic
side-by-side video comparison to evaluate key performance elements, including
body alignment, timing, coordination, and movement smoothness. Simple
quantitative measures such as angles, distance, and time are also incorporated
to support analysis.
Overall,
the workshop is designed to equip participants with the confidence and
competence to use video replay effectively as a tool for skill development,
performance evaluation, and informed coaching decision-making.
