Integrating play-based learning into your coaching practice

What happens when we step back and let young people lead their own play? 
This session explores free play as a powerful yet underutilised tool. Participants will engage in practical free play, share observations/experiences in small groups, and reflect on how autonomy, joy, and self-directed learning show up in their own coaching contexts. 

Together, we'll surface real-world challenges, coaching mindsets, and next steps, ending with a forward-looking conversation on how we might better integrate and measure the value of free play in our sports programmes.
