Joyce - an inspiring volunteer

Meet Joyce. Back in 2015, she took a big step out of her comfort zone to sign up as a Team Nila volunteer for the Southeast Asian Games.

Nervous and uncertain on her first day of duty, she was struck by the warm welcome she received from her project leader, and the bonds she built with other Team Nila throughout the event.

Since then, Joyce has been a positive force in Team Nila. She has volunteered in a long list of sport events, taken on a variety of roles, and even trained as a technical official for swimming.
