promote purposeful reflection and deeper learning;
- Apply effective facilitation strategies and
techniques to support the transfer of learning; and
- Create impactful and transformative learning experiences that foster personal growth, development, and meaningful application of learning.
Liz Riyana
began her career in education as a Physical Education teacher at the Institute
of Technical Education (ITE), where she championed Floorball—then the
fastest-growing sport within the institution – as a means to engage youth and
promote positive lifestyles. Her commitment to leveraging sport as a
transformative tool earned her two commendation awards for Sports Excellence.
At Republic
Polytechnic, Liz expanded her impact through the design and facilitation of
experiential learning programmes for diverse participant groups. She led
Project Aramsay, a 2-year community engagement initiative funded by the
Singapore Totalisator Board (TOTE Board), which supported at-risk youth across
23 Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) and schools nationwide. She also
spearheaded the conceptualisation and development of the Xperiential Learning
Centre (XLC) – Singapore’s first large-scale inclusive adventure learning
facility serving individuals of varied abilities.
