Let's Go Lionesses - Ep 5 - No VAR, Please
Referees are often the first to be blamed in match decisions, and in this special episode, we feature Abirami Naidu. Affectionately known as Abi by her peers, she is Singapore’s first female FIFA referee to officiate global tournaments such as the Women’s World Cup. Abi shares her unique position of calling the shots on the pitch, how she has dealt with emotions from players on the pitch, and her unique story of her love for football. We also get her to teach us some referee hand signs that are often used on the pitch, dish out advice on how to become a referee, and of course, get her to share her fitness routine! Her #lionessg challenge will be closely watched by aspiring female referees in Singapore!
