Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking.

The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, and racewalking.

*Event Postponement Notice – Pesta Sukan Athletics (26 July 2026)

Due to inclement weather, the following events scheduled for Sunday, 26 July 2026 have been postponed and will now take place on Saturday, 1 August 2026:

Men Under-18 800m – 8:30am

Men Under-20 800m – 11:00am

Men Open 800m – 11:20am

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank all athletes, coaches and supporters for your understanding. We look forward to welcoming you on 1 August 2026.

Important Reminder : Please remember to bring your assigned race bib for all four event days . Each participant is issued only one bib, and no replacements will be provided.
